I have just graduated from the active duty phase of parenting my two marvelous children, who outshine me in multiple ways. My lock-picking beekeeper makes mouth-watering pastries and my published writer and self-taught coder has the best taste in TV shows in the family. My two cats, Pippa and Vladimir, have virtually no hobbies or interests of note, but they are loved anyway.
I enjoy learning new words, and reading myself to sleep every night. I have impressive debate skills, but will always gracefully concede when bested. No need to be wary when I ask why you hold various opinions; I just want to learn how your mind works. I promise I won’t use anything I learn against you.

My name is Tracy Hayes, and I am a professional encourager.
My experience has been collected through work as a social worker, a labor doula, and an English as a second language teacher. I homeschooled my own children successfully for more than ten years. My Bachelor's degree is in psychology, with a concentration in theater. I have worked professionally with diverse populations, including children from multiple cultures, elderly clients, and the military, as well as in the mental health field. As a result, I have a deep compassion for all children and parents (and teachers, too) in the midst of the process of formal education, and a full toolbox for assisting families to meet their educational goals.
